I’ve been an artist, a soldier, a teacher, a missionary, an oil-field roustabout, a carpenter…and a dozen other professions. Right now I am a twenty-three year old trapped in a middle-aged body and wondering “WHAT HAPPENED”. I’m also crippled with ankylosing spondylitis (nothing to do with dinosaurs) and rheumatoid arthritis so chronic pain is the 500 pound gorilla in the middle of my living room.

Are you the same David Deitrick whose illustrations grace the interior of my 1983 copy of the rules for Traveller? Or the fellow who did so many illustrations for early Battletech work? Because I want to thank you. I just turned 60 and I know how you feel about your Princess.
Yes, I am the one and the same David Deitrick of Traveller & Battletech fame. A little worse for wear but still vertical and taking nourishment . Thank you for your kind words to me and my Beautiful Saxon Princess as well.
